An Update on the Red Noodle Beans

During my walk through the gardens yesterday, I noticed little shocks of color among the Red Noodle Bean plants.  And what did I find?  See below.

This picture was taken of the large Red Noodle Bean plant in the pot on the deck.

You see the flower is just starting to open.

This picture was taken from the much smaller plant on the plant table.  Extraordinary beauty.

And another shot of the smaller plant with the larger flower.  All of the rain we have had this spring has helped to keep everything in the garden alive and robust.

And finally, a not so pretty picture of a low spot in the back yard.  This area in front of the garden shed is just saturated with water from all the rain we have had this spring.  I don't want to complain too much about the rain because we need it.  Fresh rain is vital to life on earth.  But we have had an unusual amount of rain this year.  We have predictions for more rain today and tomorrow.  We will just deal with it.
