We woke up to wet lawns and gardens this morning. Obviously it rained overnight. It is very cloudy and grey today and just a short while ago it was raining pretty steadily. I elected to take the subway into the city this morning rather than fight traffic, which is bad enough when the roads are dry.

An easy commute this morning. The trains were not crowded. I guess many others did exactly what I wanted to do and rolled over and went back to sleep. But I couldn't do that. As we say at Crest Avenue, "There's a lot to be done."
