Earlier I posted a picture of a tray of deviled eggs which were part of the birthday feast for Steven on Saturday night. I wanted to show you a little more detail about this serving tray.
What an ingenious design. The bottom is made of lucite and divided into 4 separate chambers. A little ice in each chamber before placing the stainless steel tray on top keeps the eggs cool. The coolness helps to preserve the freshness of the eggs and keeps them chilled. Personally, I believe they are better served chilled than at room temperature. Especially during the spring and summer months.
These trays are available online or at Bed, Bath & Beyond (www.bedbathbeyond.com). Do a search on their site for "deviled egg" and you will find these trays.
