Fall Color

We are starting to see some fall color here in the Mid-Atlantic.  I couldn't resist taking a few pictures this morning on my walk.



This was so beautiful to see, but it did not photograph well.  I was trying to emphasize the magnificent color in the tree in the upper right quadrant of this picture.  But it did not convey well.




Here is a closer view of that same tree.  Gorgeous.




And a final shot.  I particularly like how the leaf in the forefront covers a good deal of the shot but leaves all the intricacy of the leaves in the background.  This was taken at Thompson's Boathouse on the Potomac River.
